On the operations
side, we’re configured in a modified ‘hub and spoke’ pattern which
is designed around three major terminal hubs (St. Paul, Rock Island
and Chicago). Supporting these primary hubs are ‘mini-hubs’ at Des
Moines and Kansas City. The LME terminal network
combines cost effective and efficient operation with the utmost
service flexibility. Responding to customer’s ever-changing
distribution needs is one of the reasons we have a long history of
growth and customer satisfaction.
